Updates

October 2007:

Updates will probably remainly yearly. I feel this page is a fairly complete resource aside from accepting more submissions of art, poetry, and personal experiences.

The Personal Experiences Section has been updated with three entries: A Hands on Experience, Waves of Greeting, and a Divine Night.

The Art Section has been updated with six new images.

The Occult Section has been updated with three articles on Psychic Protection: Diagnosing, Protecting Others, and Protecting Pets.

The Poetry Section has been updated with three new offerings: Hail Manannan, Prayer to Manannan, and Sea Charms.

The Library has been updated with two articles: From Manannán to Bercilak and Shaping the Shape-Shifter.

May 2006:

-The occult section has been reformatted to fit the rest of the site, and additional graphics added to many of the pages.

-The Beginner's course on Magick has gone from flat text to lively picture filled html.

-A guide to manipulating magical energy and charging from natural sources has been added:

-Added guide to dealing with a psychic attack.

-Added an experience from Jeff that reveals Manannan's very typical sense of humor.

-Added an account of a vision also makes for interesting reading.

Nov 2005:

Major web site overhall.

On Manannan's Isle- by Usha Kishore- Imagine walking the Isle of Man and listening to the voices on the wind. Usha has crafted a beautiful poem from her experiences.

Memorial Ritual- A very fine and well thought out ritual to pay homage to the dead. Created by Erynn Rowan Laurie it can be found

The Fosterage of the House of the Two Pails- From the Book of Fermoy, this tale is exceptionally interesting and unique because it features Manannan speaking of the Christian god, as well as providing some connection with Manannan to India.

Maureen Shepherd wrote in awhile back with an personal account which can be read here.

And last but not least, the Manannan Tarot Card. Thalia Took is the artist of this brilliant piece, and considering how hard it is to capture the image of a shape shifter, I think she's done a great job. Thalia's impressive web site has many more such portraits of Gods from around the world, and more Goddesses than you can shake a stick at! Check it out here: http://www.thaliatook.com/index.html.

I also cleared out a lot of dead links that gave credit to various sources. I always search for new ones before I delete, but if you have material here and a web site or email address you want it linked to, please email me.

11-04-04:

Man, what haven't I updated? I update/changed the wording on most pages and tinkered with some graphics. The Message Board has been axed, and a mailing list has been introduced. I'm not really sure what I plan to do with the list, but why not sign up and see? There's a new section on Rituals, as well as a search engine on the main page. Occult document have been added in the lessons section, with more to come soon (for real this time!). Check out the new art under Extended Research too! Lots of cool stuff there.

7-24-03:

Occult Lessons section opened!
Reworded basic communication technique and added more detail.
Made small changes to text and images over many pages on site.
Corrected opening date of site to be in 2002.
Small graphic changes to Lagoon

4-20-03:

Changed some graphics around. Down-played the tritons, up-played the triskelions. Change some of the generic sea god pictures to images of Manannan.

General Overview- Updated correspondence chart. Added page about personality.

Further Information- Added Manx Notebook entries, added poems/ballads, updated various myths with graphics, added "Index of Images" area. The Further Information section has doubled at least. It's a tremendous amount of information, and there's still so much more I have to add!
